On Sunday, February 7, Al Lopez Park will be closed including the community center and dog park. The park will be used for Super Bowl production and there will not be any tailgating opportunities at the park for Super Bowl 55 taking place at Raymond James Stadium. Go Bucs!
On the days leading up to the Super Bowl and on Sunday, February 7, expect heavier traffic in the area around Al Lopez Park, along North Himes Avenue, West Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, and North Dale Mabry Hwy.
The park will resume normal operating hours on Monday, February 8.
