RMAP has reached the maximum amount of applications, and is currently closed and not accepting applications at this time. However, the City of Tampa has established the following link to track all persons interested in RMAP, should additional funding or resources be identified. Family moving - Rental & Move-in Assistance Program (RMAP)

The City of Tampa’s Rental and Move-in Assistance Program (RMAP) provides residents with monthly financial literacy resources and move-in assistance. This may include but is not limited to security deposits, first and last month’s rent, and/or an ongoing monthly rental subsidy.

Awarded financial assistance will be determined per household.

Qualifications

  • Up to 140% Area Median Income (AMI) (See income limits below)
  • Currently moving into a rental unit within the City of Tampa limits OR renewing a lease within the City of Tampa limits with a rent increase
