Titus O'Neil Smacks Down on Those Not Wearing a Mask in New COVID-19 Safety PSAs

This information is 3 years 2 months old and may no longer be accurate.

The City of Tampa has enlisted the help of local WWE Super Star and community advocate, Titus O’Neil, to stress the importance of wearing a mask.

In a series of video PSA’s Titus confronts individuals spotted not wearing masks, reminding them to be responsible, be safe, and mask up.

“I wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end of Titus mask smackdown--have you seen the guy?” jokes Tampa Mayor Jane Castor. “But in all seriousness, we need everyone to take personal responsibility to keep themselves, other fans and our entire community safe from COVID-19 by wearing a mask. We are fully committed to hosting a fun, safe and historic Super Bowl in Tampa--and coming up next, a fun and safe Wrestlemania too--but safety always comes first. I want to thank Titus for taking the time to help us amplify this important message, and I want to thank all the fans that are doing their part to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Wear a mask and GO BUCS!”
