Primary Details
Description
Flooding occurs in low-lying areas of the Golfview Neighborhood during intense, short‑duration rain due to an old, undersized drainage system, leaving streets flooded for days and vehicles stranded. This project includes designing and constructing a new drainage conveyance system and upsizing existing infrastructure in this urban neighborhood. Following FDOT’s drainage improvements on South Dale Mabry Highway, the upgraded system will connect to the City’s Dale Mabry‑Henderson Trunkline at West Watrous Avenue. The project also provides opportunities for Green Infrastructure and water‑quality improvements.
