The Mobility Department in conjunction with the Florida Department of Transportation maintains a current Functional Classification of Roadways map. The classifications defined below are based on the Federal Highway Administration’s (FHWA) Roadway Functional Classification system. This system categorizes roads based on the character of service they provide. The classification of the roads, such as arterials and collectors can be found on this page.
