Since 1983, The Mayor’s Hispanic Advisory Council’s mission is to serve as a liaison between the city government and the Hispanic community. Our Latinos Unidos event is dedicated to opening new doors of opportunity for Latino youth in our community. The event highlights the influence and economic impact of Hispanics in the United States with an inspiring keynote speaker and recognition of community leaders and focuses on raising scholarship dollars to remove critical barriers to postsecondary education for Latino youth. With support like yours, we have funded endowments at Hillsborough Community College, the University of South Florida, and the University of Tampa.
