Description
This project provides for the design and equipment purchase of the Return Sludge Pump Stations No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 electrical system improvements at the Howard F. Curren AWTP. The project will include replacement of the motor control centers, switchgears, variable frequency drivers, lighting panels and miscellaneous electrical components.
Community Benefits
The treatment plant project will restore the plant’s reliability by replacing aging equipment and will include improvements to reduce vulnerability to extreme weather events and sea level rise. The project will also enhance the treatment plant processes with modern technology which will increase the plant’s treatment and operating efficiency.
