Beginning at 5pm today, the outside eastbound lane on East Busch Blvd between Del Rey Ct and N Whittier St will reopen to traffic and then close again on Monday, May 2, at 9am to continue work following an earlier water main break. Barricades and signs will be removed to permit a return to normal traffic patterns over the weekend. Please use caution when driving in the area. Modifications may be necessary during the course of the work.
The completion of the work with a return to normal traffic patterns is now expected by 5pm, Tuesday, May 3. Work schedules are contingent upon weather conditions. The staff and crews of the Tampa Water Department appreciate everyone's patience during this time.
