Beginning at 9am today, the northbound lane of North 22nd Street will be closed between East 113th Avenue and East 115th Avenue while the Tampa Water Department returns to complete additional repairs following earlier work on the water distribution system. Barricades and flaggers will be located in the area to assist with rerouting and traffic flow. All lanes will reopen to traffic by 5pm each night and then close again at 9am the following morning to continue the work. Please use caution when driving in the area.
The completion of the work with a return to normal traffic patterns is expected to be completed by 4pm, Friday, June 30. Work schedules are contingent upon weather conditions. The staff and crews of the Tampa Water Department appreciate everyone's patience during this time.
