On Saturday, December 3, the community is invited to join in on the holiday fun as the 2022 Santa Fest Parade returns to downtown Tampa, followed by the annual Tampa Tree Lighting in Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park.
PARADE ROUTE & ROAD CLOSURES
The parade steps off at 1:00 p.m. beginning at Morgan Street and Madison Street. It travels west on Madison Street to Ashley Drive, turns north, and ends at Ashley Drive and Cass Street. The best viewing is along Madison Street.
After the parade through downtown, come by Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park for Santa Fest entertainment and activities from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM.
TAMPA TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY
Make sure to stay for Tampa's Tree Lighting Ceremony, starting at 6:00 PM. Santa Claus will light up the tree before the holiday movie, Fred Claus, begins at 6:30 PM.
Tampa’s Santa Fest & Tree Lighting 2022 is a collaborative effort between the City of Tampa and Friends of Tampa Parks & Recreation.
