Daily/Special Event/Internal Validations Information

Requesting Validation Codes for Special Events

Special Event Validation Codes are available for use at the following parking facilities:

  • Ft. Brooke Garage
  • Poe Garage
  • Pam Iorio Garage
  • Tampa Convention Center Garage
  • Centro Ybor Garage
  • Palm Garage

These codes are used for single or multi-day events to cover all parking charges for your event guests (for up to one (1) week). Validation Codes will cover either the hourly parking rate charge, or the event rate charge for the indicated facility.

Due to high demand, it may take up to two (2) weeks to complete your request for Special Event Validation Codes.

There is a minimum order of 20 Validation Codes. You will only be charged for the number of Validation Codes that are redeemed. These invoices will be sent out on the 16th of the following month and will be emailed to the billing email on file. Invoices can be paid by cash, check, or credit card in our Administrative Offices during business hours or 24/7 online by credit card. Currently we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. To pay your Special Event Validation Code invoice, please follow these instructions.

To request Special Event Validation Codes, visit Tampa Connect and provide all indicated information. Tax-exempt companies must provide a valid tax exemption certificate number and copy of their tax exemption certificate at the time of request.

Redeeming Validation Codes for Special Events

To redeem a provided Validation Code:

  1. Guest will enter the parking facility and park in an available space.
  2. Before leaving the facility, the guest will enter the provided Validation Code and their license plate at one of the pay stations conveniently located throughout the facility.
    1. The pay station will provide a receipt and it is recommended to keep this for your records.
  3. When the guest is ready to leave the facility, all they will need to do is exit to terminate the parking session.

New and Reorder of Daily Billed Account Validation Codes or Validation Tickets

Daily Validation Tickets and Codes are used for reoccurring monthly billed validation accounts. Daily Validation TICKETS are available for use at the Twiggs Garage location. The validation tickets are used by surrounding businesses, offices, and agencies to validate parking for their customers or employees. Daily Validation CODES are available for use at the Ft. Brooke, Palm, Pam Iorio, Centro Ybor, Poe and Tampa Convention Center Garages.

These are NOT used for events. Parking charges are invoiced each month and are payable by Cash, Check, or Credit Card.

Daily Parking Validation Tickets and Codes can be set to cover all of the parking charges (i.e. full day parking rate) or cover only a set amount of parking time (i.e. up to two hours).

To order Daily Validation Tickets or Codes:

  1. Visit the Tampa Connect website.
  2. Enter the information required by the form.
  3. If you are reordering Validation Tickets or Codes please be ready to provide:
    1. Department/Business Name on Account
    2. Three (3) Digit Account Number (provided in original account creation email).
    3. Number of Codes/Tickets Requested
    4. Contact Email and Phone Number to Reached Once Completed

Daily and Special Event chaser tickets can be picked up at the Parking Administrative Office located on the first floor of the Fort Brooke garage at 107 N. Franklin St. in downtown Tampa.  All parking codes for Ft. Brooke, Palm, Pam Iorio, Centro Ybor, TCC and Poe will be emailed to the requestor. The parking office is open Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm.
