Hispanic Heritage Month

The Mayor's Hispanic Advisory Council is hosting its inaugural Latinos Ascend: Noche de Estrellas, a black-tie event benefiting graduate students through the Dr. Anh-Kay Pizano USF Latino Scholarship Fund at the Tampa Museum of Art on October 20, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm in the evening. Nominate a rising star under 40 in the Latino community for the Latinos Ascend Estrella Award by October 10.

City Center at Hanna Avenue

CITY CENTER AT HANNA AVENUE

In January 2022, the City of Tampa broke ground on the City Center at Hanna Ave – an exciting development that will help improve city services, offer a gathering space for the community, and support equal business opportunity. 35% of the construction work at the City Center site is being completed by black-owned and small, locally-owned businesses.
