Official requests, notices, or filings must be submitted through established City channels. - Limitations of Liability
The City of Tampa expressly disclaims liability for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in chatbot responses, and for any actions taken or decisions made in reliance on such information. Users who require authoritative or binding information should contact the appropriate City department directly. - Changes and Availability
The City reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue chatbot services at any time without notice. Continued use of the chatbot constitutes acceptance of any updates or changes to these terms.
Data Privacy, Security, and Public Records
The City of Tampa prioritizes the privacy and security of users’ information. However, users should be aware that chatbot conversations may be reviewed by authorized City staff or service providers for purposes such as improving system performance, accuracy, and service quality. Third-party technology providers supporting the chatbot may also retain conversation logs in accordance with their own policies.
Florida has a broad public records law. As a result, any written communication created or received by the City of Tampa through electronic means—including chatbot interactions—may be subject to disclosure to the public and the media upon request, unless a specific statutory exemption applies.
Do not submit sensitive, confidential, or personal information (including Social Security numbers, financial information, medical information, passwords, or other protected data) through the chatbot. The chatbot is intended for general informational purposes only and should not be used to transmit information requiring privacy or confidentiality.
