PURPOSE: In light of the impending arrival of Tropical Storm Idalia, the city of Tampa invites members of the press to attend a briefing detailing the city's preparedness measures.

(August 28, 2023) -- City of Tampa leaders will address the city's preparedness initiatives, safety guidelines, and other essential matters related to Tropical Storm Idalia on Monday morning, August 28, at 11 a.m. outside the Tampa Municipal Operations Building (TMOB) in downtown Tampa.

Members of the media will have an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the briefing.
