Tampa Kicks Off Shop Small Campaign in Support of National Small Business Saturday

The City of Tampa is proud to celebrate the fifth year of its Shop Small Tampa campaign, emphasizing the importance of supporting small businesses as part of National Small Business Saturday on November 30 and throughout the holiday season. This online initiative offers local companies free marketing through the Shop Small Tampa Directory and the City’s social media channels to help spotlight the small businesses that fuel Tampa’s economy.

The Shop Small Tampa Directory, which already features more than two dozen small businesses from across the city, serves as a convenient tool for finding unique stores, creative artisans, and boutique brands in Tampa’s neighborhoods.

“Shop Small Tampa is about more than shopping—it’s about investing in our community,” said Janelle H. McGregor, Director of Community Engagement and Partnerships for the City of Tampa. “Every purchase from a small business helps create jobs and support families, while celebrating the creativity and drive that make Tampa one-of-a-kind.”

This year, the campaign also highlights the importance of supporting small businesses impacted by recent hurricanes, ensuring these vital community pillars continue to recover and thrive.
