The morning commute in and around the Tampa Convention Center may be a bit slower on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. The annual Hillsborough Regional STEM Fair is taking place, bringing about 2,000 students, parents, and teachers.
The STEM Fair is happening between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Drivers will see peak delays starting around 7:30 a.m. There will be school bus traffic on South Franklin Street by the convention center around 8 a.m.
Tampa Police will assist with flow at crosswalks. Drivers coming from or heading to Harbour Island may want to consider using Beneficial Drive during this time.
A second event at the Tampa Convention Center, the Military Additive Manufacturing Summit, is happening Tuesday, February 11 and Wednesday, February 12, bringing about 900 attendees and additional traffic.
