Knight Parade Traffic Advisory

This information is 1 month 1 week old and may no longer be accurate.

Downtown Tampa and the surrounding areas will be extremely busy this weekend thanks to a calendar full of big events expected to draw more than 100,000 people.

Traffic delays and limited parking is likely. Events begin as early as 7:30 A.M. each day.

Events will be held at Amalie Arena, Blake High School, Curtis Hixon Park, Davis Island, on the Bayshore sidewalk, 7th Avenue in Ybor, Raymond James Stadium, The Straz, Tampa Convention Center, and the Tampa Theatre.

The event likely to attract the biggest crowd is the 2025 Illuminated Knight Parade on 7th Ave. in Ybor City. Tens of thousands of people are likely to attend. It begins at 7:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 8th. The roadway and adjacent side streets will be closed to traffic starting at 2:00 P.M. and numerous police officers will be on hand directing traffic and providing protections for parade goers.

The Mobility Department recommends alternative transportation to get to and from your planned destination. Options include the free TECO Streetcar, DASH Service, rentable scooters, etc. Drivers should also be on the lookout for increased numbers of pedestrians, especially in the event zones.
