TAMPA, FL. (August 18, 2025) - - Tampa Police have peacefully resolved a standoff on W. Estrella St. after several hours of careful de-escalation and negotiation. The incident, which began with an armed adult male making suicidal statements inside a vehicle, concluded with officers taking the man into custody at 11:15 pm, without further incident.
All roadways along Westshore Boulevard have now reopened to traffic.
