Tampa, FL. (December 12th, 2025)- The Tampa Police Department is conducting a death investigation after a man’s body was found in an empty lot this morning.
Shortly after 11:00am, officers responded to the 2700 block of 18th Ave E for the report of an adult male who was located deceased.
Detectives are in the process of identifying the person and notifying their next of kin. The official cause of death will be determined by the Medical Examiner's Office.
This is an active and ongoing investigation, and detectives are gathering evidence in the case.
