Traffic Advisory: Sunday, December 14th
Drivers can expect increased traffic and heavy pedestrian activity in and around Downtown Tampa on Sunday, December 14, as multiple events will be taking place in close proximity - at Benchmark International Arena, Cotanchobee Park, and the Tampa Convention Center.
Events include:
- 2025 Hot Chocolate Run – 6 AM - 11 AM (Cotanchobee Park / Bayshore Boulevard)
*Water Street Closure - Sat. Dec. 13th @ 9am to Sun., Dec. 14th @ 2pm*
- National Athletic Directors Conference – 8 AM (Tampa Convention Center)
- Trans-Siberian Orchestra – 3 PM & 7:30 PM (Benchmark International Arena
Event attendees are encouraged to use alternative transportation options whenever possible, including the free TECO Line Streetcar, DASH service, HART buses, rentable scooters and bikes, rideshare options, etc.
Please be patient, leave early, and always be on the lookout for pedestrians.
