TAMPA, FL (April 10, 2026)- Tampa Police have detained one person in connection to a homicide investigation.
Shortly before 4:00pm, officers responded to the 800-block East Zack Street for a call about an unresponsive individual. When officers arrived, they located an adult male with injuries. He was pronounced deceased on scene.
Officers have detained a person of interest and are actively working to determine their involvement and the circumstances of the death.
This remains an active investigation. Updates can be provided as the investigation allows.
