Tampa Marks 139th Birthday
with Archives Awareness Week

A big birthday is around the corner -- the City of Tampa is turning 139 next week and all are invited to join the celebration by participating in all, or any, of the free exhibits and programs offered through Archives Awareness Week.

About Archives Awareness Week

Established in 1992 by the City of Tampa, Archives Awareness Week brings together local archivists who share their remarkable collections through exhibits and programs that convey the value of archives in the preservation of historic records. Archives Awareness Week is held during the second week of July to coincide with the City of Tampa's birthday on July 15.

Events begin Sunday, July 12, through Saturday, July 18.
