City of Clerk Accepting Applications For District 7 City Council Seat
Individuals interested in applying for the District 7 City Council seat have until noon Monday, November 9, to submit their application and resume.
Applications with resumes may be submitted in-person at the City of Tampa Clerk’s Office, located at 315 E Kennedy Blvd, 3rd floor of Old City Hall. Applicants can also send their applications and resumes by email to CityClerkStaff@tampagov.net. District 7 includes New Tampa, Forest Hills, Terrace Park, and the University area.
The seat was previously held by Luis Viera, who was elected to represent House District 67.
Tampa City Council members are scheduled to select the District 7 council member at the November 17 council meeting.
