A citywide notice banning irrigation watering is in now effect. Residents are required to shut off all automatic irrigation meter and sprinkler systems until further notice. This ban is intended to conserve the City’s available water resources after a third-party performing work in the area hit a transmission main coming from the David L. Tippin Water Treatment Facility earlier this afternoon.
