Just after 8:00 on the morning of November 2, Tampa Police located an adult black male with upper body trauma at N. 29th St and E. 19th Ave. The victim, later identified as Marqueas Williams, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Tampa Police Homicide Detectives have been working to develop leads in this case. During the investigation, surveillance video was gathered that recorded three subjects near the time and location of the shooting.

While not suspects, Tampa Police Detectives would like to speak with these individuals to see if they can provide any information that could assist in the investigation and help bring a sense of closure for Marqueas Williams’ family.

The Williams' family provided the picture of Marqueas (whose nickname was ‘Papi’) in the hope that someone in the community may have information regarding the case and will contact detectives to help move the investigation forward.
