Starting at 9am on April 8, a portion of Madison Street between North Franklin Street and North Florida Avenue will close while a department contractor repairs a sewer mainline pipe. One northbound lane of North Florida Avenue will also be closed while this repair is in progress. Barricades and signs will be located in the area to assist with rerouting and traffic flow. This closure will remain in effect through April 10, 2020, weather permitting.
The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.
