This afternoon, a staff member at Coleman Middle School alerted the administration that students were reporting 12-year-old Reese Cash had a stun-gun on campus. The School Resource Officer removed the student from class. She admitted to purchasing five electric stun-guns online and bringing them to school to sell to other students; further stating she had sold three stun-guns on February 25.

Today, Cash was found to be in possession of two black Vipertek stun-guns. There was no threat made to any individual or the school itself. She was taken to the Juvenile Assessment Center, charged with Possession of a Weapon on School Property.

The three stun-guns reported to have been sold are still outstanding at the time of this writing; however, the School Resource Officer has been in contact with the cooperative parents of the other students to search for and provide the items to the Tampa Police Department as evidence.
