Tampa Bay Comic Convention to Bring 12,000 Attendees to Tampa Convention Center July 28-30

From hobbits to Harry Potter and Star Wars, the 2023 Tampa Bay Comic Convention has a full lineup of activities to delight all types of fantasy and comic book fans. The Tampa Bay Comic Convention is returning to the Tampa Convention Center in downtown Tampa July 28-30.

Tampa Bay Comic Convention started in 2000. It is Tampa’s largest dedicated comic convention and is expected to bring an estimated 12,000 attendees. Its estimated economic impact on the city of Tampa is more than $6.5 million.

The convention features a wide array of celebrities available for meet and greets and photo ops, including actors Sean Astin, Dominic Monaghan, and Billy Boyd from The Lord of the Rings, Matthew Lewis from Harry Potter, Grace Van Dien from Stranger Things, and Giancarlo Esposito from Breaking Bad and the Star Wars series The Mandalorian. There will also be appearances from professional comic book creators.

Fans will have the chance to explore hundreds of vendors in the Tampa Convention Center Exhibit Hall. Exhibitors cater to a wide spectrum of interests including comic books, magazines, toys, games, Star Wars, Star Trek, anime, manga, cosplay, artwork, sketches, and apparel.

Tickets for the three-day Tampa Bay Comic Convention start at $30 for a single-day pass. This event is family-friendly, and children 10 years old and younger are free with the purchase of an adult pass.
