As we continue to monitor and take action against COVID-19, we must continue to take reasonable measures for the safety and security of our citizens.
Mayor Jane Castor is encouraging everyone to check on family, friends, and neighbors who are most susceptible to being impacted by this virus, including older adults and those who have underlying medical conditions.
With that in mind, effective immediately we will be closing our David M. Barksdale Active Older Adult Center and Ragan Community Center respectively located at 1801 N. Lincoln Ave, Tampa, FL 33607, and 1200 E. Lake Ave, Tampa, FL 33605. Additionally, any senior programs at Tampa Parks and Recreation locations, including all centers and pools, are canceled until further notice.
