Santa's helpers, dressed as Tampa Police officers, gifted new toys to hundreds of children in need at various locations in Tampa on Thursday, December 21, 2022.
The annual giveaway known as "Santa's Workshop," was a community-centered event where bikes and toys for youth ranging in age, were distributed to children accompanied by an adult from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Martin Luther King Junior Center, located at 2200 N Oregon Ave, the Oaks at Riverview Community Center located at 110 E Kirby St, and the Jackson Heights NFL YET Center located at 3310 E Lake Ave.
Rise Tampa, Toys for Tots, Kids Wish Network, New York Yankees Foundation, and numerous other community organizations and individuals all contributed donations to the event.
