Tampa Police Homicide Detectives, after developing leads, interviewing witnesses, and collecting evidence, were able to arrest and charge 22-year-old black male, Kristopher J Chandler (11/24/1999), in relation to the homicide that was reported early Thursday morning in the 8000 block of Hampton Lake Drive.
During an interview with Homicide detectives, Chandler admitted to being at the scene and shooting the victim, an adult white male in his mid-40's. Chandler also provided the location of the gun believed to be used in the offense, which is now in police custody.
Chandler has been charged with Murder and Carrying a Concealed Weapon. He was transported to Orient Road Jail.
