Tampa Police are currently conducting a fatal Hit & Run investigation on N. 50th St. between Melburne Blvd and E 26th Ave.
Tampa Police were dispatched to N. 50th St and E. 23rd Ave for the report of an adult black male who was struck by a vehicle at 7:46 PM Sunday night. The victim died as a result of his injuries.
The suspect vehicle was reportedly a black sedan, possibly a 4 door.
The northbound lanes of N. 50th St are closed to traffic. Please use alternate routes as officers conduct the investigation.
