Victim Info: 54-year-old white male
Details: A 2015 Mazda CX5 was traveling eastbound on Hillsborough Ave just east of Highland Ave N. The pedestrian attempted to cross Hillsborough Ave. While crossing the roadway, the driver of the Mazda did not see the pedestrian and struck him. The pedestrian died at the scene as a result of his injuries. Next of kin has not yet been notified.
The driver remained at the scene, cooperative with the investigation.
While no charges are currently anticipated, this remains an active investigation. Updates can be provided as they become available.
