At 4:55 PM, Tampa Police responded to the report of a traffic crash at W. Waters Ave and N. Ola Ave involving a motorcycle and a van. Officers arrived to find the motorcyclist, an adult white male in his early to mid-twenties, had died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
The Hispanic male driver of the gray KIA van that was involved in the crash remained on scene.
Waters Ave was closed in both directions between N. Ola Avenue and N. Lynn Avenue to allow investigators to process the scene.
The investigation will determine what, if any, charges may apply.
