Thousands of pop culture fans will head to the Tampa Convention Center this weekend! The Tampa Bay Comic Convention returns Friday, August 1, through Sunday, August 3, bringing an action-packed weekend full of celebrity guests, artists, panels, photo ops, merch, and more.
Tampa Bay Comic Convention draws fans from all universes, whether it's comics, anime, sci-fi, or another genre. They'll be in and around the Tampa Convention Center in Downtown Tampa during the following registration hours:
- Friday, August 1: 11am-10pm
- Saturday, August 2: 9am-10pm
- Sunday, August 3: 9am-5pm
Drivers should expect an increase in vehicle and pedestrian traffic in the area. Tampa Police will be stationed at crosswalks to assist with the influx. Nearby parking garages will also be busier than usual.
Visitors and residents alike are encouraged to consider using alternative modes of transportation whenever possible — including the FREE TECO Line Streetcar, DASH service, HART buses, rideshare options, and rentable scooters.
