TAMPA, FL. (January 22, 2026) - The Tampa Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting that occurred on the 8200-block of North 12th Street.
When officers arrived they found one individual deceased. The victim has been identified as a 16-year-old female.
While early in the investigation, detectives believe all parties involved in the incident are known to each other. Detectives continue to gather information surrounding the circumstances of the shooting.
The department is working closely with the victim’s family, and our Victim Advocate will assist to ensure they are connected to the appropriate resources.
