The Mayor’s Asian American Pacific Islander Advisory Council invites the public to join in the festivities at the 2026 Tampa Asian Pacific Islander Cultural Festival, happening at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park in downtown Tampa on Saturday March 28, 2026.

All members of the community are invited to step into a world of vibrant and energetic Asian and Pacific Island culture, history, and tradition. Expect dazzling and inspiring cultural performances, include the Asian Pacific Islander Singing Idol competition. The festival will include a wide selection of Asian and Pacific Island street food, along with vendors and booths showcasing cultural crafts, décor, clothing and more.

This is Tampa’s biggest Asian American Pacific Islander cultural event of the year, representing many Asian countries, regions and cultures including Korea, the Philippines, China, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, India, Japan, Indonesia, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Pacific Islander destinations like Hawaii and Samoa. The event is free and open to the public.

Organized by the Mayor’s Asian American Pacific Islander Advisory Council, the Tampa Asian Pacific Islander Cultural Festival aims to showcase the beauty and diversity of AAPI cultures within our community. From engaging exhibits to free health screenings, the event offers a unique opportunity to learn, experience, and celebrate Asian Pacific Islander heritage.
