- Hillsborough County Parks (within the City of Tampa, provided the request did not originate from a county official).
Step-by-Step Appeal Process
1. Submit Your Request Within 10 Days
You must submit your written request to the TPD Legal Unit within 10 days of the date the warning was issued. You can submit your appeal request via mail or email:

3. Request for Hearing
If the trespass warning is upheld or modified, you may request a hearing in front of a hearing officer. This request must be submitted by mail or email within 30 days of receiving the decision of the Legal Unit.
4. Notice of Hearing
You will receive a Notice of Trespass Warning Hearing via mail or email as found in the link below.
5. Attend Your Hearing
See link below for Appeal Hearing Rules of Procedure.
- Note: Failure to appear at the hearing will result in the case being heard in your absence by an independent hearing officer.
