TAMPA, FL. (June 21, 2026) - - The Tampa Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting near W Main St and N Albany Ave.
Just after 10:00 p.m., Tampa Police officers were in the area near W Main St and N Albany Ave when they heard shots fired at a large gathering. Upon their arrival, they located an adult male in critical condition and immediately began rendering aid. The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries.
Detectives are working to determine what led up to the incident.
This incident is not an officer-involved shooting.
