Tampa Convention Center is pleased to announce that Abed Pompa has been promoted to Operations Manager.
Abed joined the Tampa Convention Center team in May 2024 as our Chief Maintenance Engineer. Prior to that, he worked at Tampa General Hospital.
Abed has an extensive facilities background, including a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from USF, a Certified Mechanical Contractors License, and experience in Building Automation Controls, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, training facilities personnel, and developing technical operations procedures.
