This project provides for design and construction of capacity and multimodal improvements along the E Hanna Ave corridor from N 22nd St to N 30th Sr., along the 24th St from Hanna Ave to Sligh Ave, and at the intersection of Sligh Ave and 30th St. The project includes the following proposed improvements:

  1. Hanna Avenue – 22nd Street to 30th Street:
    • Roadway milling and resurfacing.
    • Westbound Left Turn Lane into the new City Center at 2515 Hanna Ave.
    • Intersection improvements at the intersection of Hanna Ave at N 22nd St and Hanna Ave at N 30th St
  2. 24th Street – Hanna Avenue to Sligh Avenue:
    • Sidewalk along the west side of 24th St
    • All Way Stop Signs at “T” intersection along 24th St
  3. Intersection at the Sligh Avenue and 30th Street:
    • New Traffic Signal
    • Northbound Left-Turn Lane.
N Grady Ave Ditch Rehabilitation Stormwater Engineering P5: Closeout Closeout 6 $1300000.00 2025 Stormwater Improvement Fee The project is located on the east side of N Grady Avenue, just south of W Spruce Street, and is identified as part of the Grady Avenue Drainage Improvements. The work includes demolition of trees and guardrail, installation of ten (10) storm sewer structures and large diameter piping to enclose an existing 800-ft ditch corridor. Improvements include approximately 200 feet of 36‑inch reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) and approximately 490 feet of 60x38‑inch elliptical reinforced concrete pipe (ERCP), along with all related miscellaneous and appurtenant work needed to enhance conveyance and corridor safety.

N Boulevard Resurfacing from W Green St to W Dr MLK Blvd Transportation P2: Design 30% Design Completion 6 $4896793.00 TBD Tax - Other This is a subproject of the Hillsborough County Resurfacing Tax Project funded by the AFT Surtax Network Operating Fund. The project provides pavement resurfacing, pedestrian accessibility and safety improvements along the N Boulevard corridor, spanning approximately 1.75 miles from W Green St to W Dr MLK Blvd. N Boulevard is a collector roadway serving as a critical access route for the West River, Tampa Heights, Ridgewood Park and Riverside Heights neighborhoods. The project will include:
  • Roadway resurfacing
  • Improved pavement markings
  • ADA pedestrian ramps
SE Lake Carroll WM Replacement Water P2: Design 30% Design Completion $3540279.16 2027 PIPES Approximately 10,113 linear feet of water mains ranging from 2 to 8 inches in diameter will be replaced and upgraded.
Belmont Heights Gravity Sewer Rehabilitation by CIPP Lining Wastewater P2: Design 30% Design Completion 5 $7970000.00 2027 PIPES This project includes the rehabilitation of approximately 143,264 linear feet of 8-inch, 5,581 linear feet of 10-inch, 1,604 linear feet of 12-inch, 3,317 linear feet of 15-inch, and 3,744 linear feet of 18-inch diameter gravity sewers and the rehabilitation of manholes.
