The Tampa Convention Center congratulates Erika O'Brien, Convention Services Manager, on recently earning the Certified Meeting Professional certification.
A CMP certification is issued by the Events Industry Council and recognized globally as a badge of excellence in the events industry. The qualifications for certification are based on professional experience, education and a rigorous exam. The CMP program was launched in 1985 to enhance the knowledge and performance of meeting professionals, promote the status and credibility of the meeting profession and advance uniform standards of practice. We are proud to add another certification to our portfolio - instilling a higher level of confidence for meeting planners in the quality of service and knowledge that they will receive with our TCC team.
