As a part of the City of Tampa TECO Streetcar Infrastructure Assessment Study, a pre-inspection meeting was held in January 2014 with Streetcar and City of Tampa representatives. HART maintenance staff identified recurring track maintenance issues associated with trackway flooding between 5th and 6th Avenues and at other specific locations adjacent to Channelside Drive. These locations were identified in the Infrastructure Assessment Report (July 2014) as maintenance issues that should be addressed in the near term (2 to 5 years).
