South Howard Avenue Corridor Study

South Howard Avenue is an important transportation corridor, functioning as a traffic collector and truck route for surrounding neighborhoods and adjacent businesses. Surrounding land-uses generate many vehicle trips which produce turning movements at access driveways and side streets, demands for parking spaces, and significant pedestrian activity along and across South Howard Avenue.

The purpose of this corridor study is to identify critical transportation problems and develop short-term and long term improvement concepts for addressing those problems. These improvement concepts will help to establish future funding priorities.
