Things to Remember on Residential Collection Days:

Know before you throw
- Download the Tampa Trash and Recycling App if you have any doubts about questionable items.
- Do not discard any prohibited waste in your cart.
- Check your collection days of service.
Prepping your cart for service
- Place all trash inside your cart.
- Be sure the lid is closed with no garbage extending out of your cart.
Set your cart out for service
- Place the cart at the curb with a 3-foot clearance on all sides the night before your designated pickup day, or before 6 a.m. on your pickup day.
- Your cart must be removed from the curb by the end of the service day.
