Skate Park Rules & Regulations

  • The skate park is used for both experienced and inexperienced skate board riders and in line skates. Serious injury may occur from colliding with other riders, falling on the concrete surface, and from flying objects. The City of Tampa does not assume responsibility for injuries. Use of the facility is at your own risk.
  • All skaters must check in at the front desk in order to receive their arm band for entry into the skate park.
  • Helmets are required by all participants at all times while they are on the skating surface. Elbow and knee pads are required for skaters under the age of 18.
  • The City of Tampa reserves the right to change the hours of operation as necessary and close the park due to inclement weather, special events, and any other reasons deeded necessary by the City of Tampa.
  • Smoking, smokeless tobacco use, drug use/possession and alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited.
  • Unlawful entry into the facility will result in a trespassing citation and suspension from the facility.
  • Food and drinks are not permitted in the skating area. Glass containers and gum are not permitted at the skate park or the facility.
  • No horseplay, fighting, profanity is permitted at the park. Weapons, such as knives and guns are not permitted at the facility. Violators will be banned from the skate park.
  • No BMX bikes are allowed at the skate park.
  • All persons entering the skate park MUST HAVE A SIGNED WAIVER, no exceptions. Children under the age of 18 years must have a parent or legal guardian sign the waiver. Children 10 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
  • Littering and graffiti are prohibited.
  • The skate park will not be operable when the skating surface is wet.
  • The use of skate wax is prohibited.
  • No pets allowed at the park.
  • The City of Tampa reserves the right to restrict entry to the facility and ask individuals to leave the park if these guidelines are not followed or unsafe behavior is observed.
