The boat and boarding dock is located just north of the fishing pier. It is lined with cleats to temporarily dock your boat for free and enjoy the park.
This is single lane, poured in place concrete boat ramp with boarding dock. There are only 4 spots for vehicles with trailers and parking spots fill up quickly. The boat ramp is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The fishing pier is well lit and has an plenty of space. The pier is free and open 24 hours, 7 days a week. Note the rest of the park is open from 6 am to 8 pm. Florida Saltwater Fishing Licenses are required. Equipment rental is available from the local concessionaire.
The octagonal gazebo is situated in a shady spot near the playground and is ideal for special occasions. The domed roof features ornate support pillars along with wooden railings. The gazebo is unfurnished.
Uncovered, individual picnic tables are scattered throughout Ballast Point Park and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
A semi-shaded playground that features slides, bridges, and a lot of things to climb upon. It also includes a Tot Lot for younger visitors. For hotter days, the splash pad is nearby.
Some shelters are first-come, first-served and others are available by reservation. Many feature grills and are near the playground.
When it's hot, the kids can cool off at the splash pad which features colorful flowers which shoot out water. Surrounding benches offer parents a great vantage point.
