First Annual
City of Tampa Earth Fair

Purpose:

The1st Annual City of Tampa Earth Fair, scheduled for April 19, 2026, will serve as a citywide initiative to advance Mayor Jane Castor’s Transforming Tampa’s Tomorrow Strategic Goal of Establishing Sustainability and Resilience. The event’s purpose is to highlight the City’s ongoing environmental initiatives, programs, and educational opportunities while engaging the community and fostering collaboration across departments—such as Parks & Recreation, Solid Waste, Water, Mobility, Community Engagement, City Planning, and the Green Team. By bringing together municipal teams working together with related community partners, nonprofit organizations, and residents, Earth Fair aims to showcase Tampa’s collective commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable progress. This celebration will kick off Earth Week and provide a platform for learning, engagement, and partnership-building that supports a more resilient and environmentally conscious future for the City of Tampa.
